It was during the first lockdown in Victoria that I picked up my guitar again. It must have been addictive, because by the following year I had written some songs and started wanting to record a full album (see my ‘about’ page to learn more). I’m glad to say now, that two years later, that that hard early work paid off with this, my debut album, being released in April 2022.
The album has 9 tracks and as a whole is meant to be a snapshot of the life of a teenager during lockdown. The songs are sometimes comedic and other times more serious, covering many topics, including school life, love, loss, planning for the future, and, without foresight that the lockdowns would actually never see the light of day again, COVID.
You’ll also hear an instrumental in there (everyone hates it but I think it serves as a good interval).
No matter how dated you find it all, this album is for all of you. xD
